Making a difference one step at a time 
Tsinelas.org - Featured VolunteerI can't vividly remember how it all started. What I remember though was one afternoon when (Ate) Narsheen Artiaga approached me outside our Newsroom classroom and asked if I was willing to help her establish UP Cebu Tsinelas.
Yowee Gonzales is a volunteer and project coordinator of Tsinelas and defended the organization in the 2009 Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO) competition. Tsinelas won in the Visayas finals and went on to represent the region in the national finals. Here, Yowee writes a letter to Tsinelas, which she fondly calls "Chinny," expressing her gratitude for being part of the organization.
Carmel Loise Matus is former president of STC-Tsinelas. She is now in her last year at the Saint Theresa's College, taking up Mass Communication.
