FIDEC- Central Visayas Fisherfolk Development Center Inc.
FIDEC is a non-stock, non-profit service institution for the marginal fisherfolk in region 7. It was established in 1985 as the Fishermen’s Development Center, Inc. In keeping with modifications made to its orientation in 1995, its name and territorial scope was changed. Since then FIDEC is referred to as the Central Visayas Fisherfolk Development Center, Inc.
What They Do With Tsinelas Fidec is Tsinelas' coordinator in the organization's area of operation in Cordova, Cebu. 
THEIR BOOKS The success of Their Books made Tsinelas one of the best youth organizations in the Visayas in the Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO) Awards 2009. Tsinelas represented the Visayas in the TAYO national finals in Manila that same year. Award-winning writer Januar Yap shares his thoughts about the event.
